There are some parallels here in Aotearoa / NZ with the demented Jacinda-haters, as I call them, including some of the architects of the 23 day occupation of the NZ Parliament grounds earlier this year. Ms Ardern is about the most un-hatable politican you can imagine yet it is amazing how many NZers hate her all the same, for reasons that seem to have more to do with psychology than politics. Far right Facebook pages have nearly four times as many followers per 100K Internet users in NZ as in the USA. And, yes, the NZ Constitution Act of 1852 founded this country, too, on the principles of Peace, Order, and Good Government.
