Yes, there are ethical issues involved with reproducing pictures of other people. I remember hearing somewhere that you should always ask their permission if possible. While that might be thought very old-fashioned these days, I recently had to bin a photograph taken inside a railway station for technical purposes because it included face-recognisable images of one or two patrons, and comms weren't happy about that. So, yeah.
